2003 Chevrolet Avalanche Z71 4x4 4 Door Quad Cab Power Moon Roof 5.3 Liter 8 Cylinder Engine Air Conditioning This is a Great running 4x4 Avalanche Crew Cab that has a Power Moon Roof , Leather seats, a 5.3 Liter 8 Cylinder Engine ,Good Heat and Air Conditioning. The Body in very good shape with scratches , dings and a little rust. The one thing I noticed is has some play in front probably needs ball joints . The interior in good shape, front Driver's side leather seat has tears in it and passenger side has one tear. After a Test Drive I found that the 5.3 liter 8 Cylinder runs Great and the Automatic Transmission Shifts very smooth. Also the 4 Wheel Drive works Excellent and so does the Power Moon Roof. I've decided to sell my 03 Avalanche. I bought this truck a few years ago with some minor damage. I have installed lots of new parts, including a very expensive rear bumper and bumper cover. The truck has minor damage to the front drivers side fender. The fender needs replaced and I do have a new one that I paid over 300 dollars for. It will be included. I also have 2 cans of paint that was mixed properly to match the factory paint. I will include pictures of the paint. The cans have nozzles that spray the same type of wide pattern that professional spray guns do. The new fender will need to be painted and the rear quarter will need to be finished as well. It only needs very minor work. It needs to be finished painted. This work can probably be done in one day's time. Like I said. I have two spray cans of paint, that should be enough for the job. At least a great start. I will include primer and clear coat as well. These are good products too. I also purchased two new fog light assemblies. I paid around 85 dollars for the pair. I also have a 4x4 OEM Decal that fits the rear quarter on the drivers side. I will include it as well. It perfectly matches the decal on the passenger side.Ok, for the BAD. The rear end is out. It may be able to be rebuilt. I don't know. I took the cover off and a few things are busted up. A rear end for this truck runs around 6 hundred dollars on ebay. The average on craigslist is $450. I will now list all of the other things that are wrong with the truck. The steering column needs replaced. It works fine, it just has some play in it. I suspect bearings maybe. The steering wheel is wobbly feeling, but I have drove it like that for over 6 months with no problems whatsoever. The drivers seat is ripped pretty bad. The other seats are in decent condition. They look pretty good, but there is a small rip in the passenger seat, and there is a hole/rip in the middle of the rear seats. The seat backs are in great shape. No cold air. I don' t know what is wrong. It probably just needs to be charged. The blower motor is out. You can get one on ebay for around 30 or 40. The truck needs rear brake work. The rear brakes do not work at all. It still drives and stops great. The front brakes still work, and front antilock breaks do work as well. I am not sure what is wrong with the rear brakes. The thin strip (rocker panels) below the doors on each side are rusting pretty bad. It's hard to notice, so it doesn't look that bad, but will need addressed. The roof liner inside the cab is missing. I took it out to replace the fabric and it got damaged in storage. I imagine this would be easy to find at a junk yard. The rear tail gate handle is broken, but you can still open the tail gate. I also have a brand new tail gate handle that is included. The truck has a new battery Duragold from autozone. The truck runs excellent. It does have high miles, but runs and drives just like new. It is like driving a caddilac. It handles excellent. It has tons of power. If you need to pass someone, it will do it in a hurry. The 4 wheel drive works great as well. The tires are decent. Not great at all, but decent. The truck drives very smooth. There are no shakes at all. All the bed cover panels are present. The sunroof works great. The truck is equipped with onstar. All the windows work. The passenger window is slower than the rest, but always works great. All the door locks work. However, the key fobs do not work. I don't know if it is a fuse issue, but I suspect it is. This truck starts every time. It has been very reliable. I have drove it for the last couple years to work, fixing and replacing things a little at a time. It drives great, even will all the problems I just listed. The color of the truck is amazing. It is a very pretty shade of blue. There has been numerous occasions that people come up to me and say how they love the truck because of the color. The truck runs great. It just needs rear brake work and the rear end differential replaced. I would recommend buying one at a junk yard off a low mileage vehicle instead of rebuilding it. I would trust this truck to drive anywhere, any distance. The back seats fold down, and opens up to the bed of the truck. You can haul 12 foot lumber easily without it sticking past the tail gate very much at all. The back window removes also, very easily I might add, and it allows the whole back of the truck cab to be open. The lady and I love to camp in this truck. When the back seats are laid down, you can fit a full size mattress into the truck and be completely enclosed and protected from rain. It makes a great little camper. The speakers are busted in the rear doors. The front ones are not perfect, but sound halfway decent. It has the bose sound system. The speakers will need to be replaced. They are easy to find on ebay. Just a great looking old truck that needs a little TLC!The truck cannot be driven. It will need to be picked up with a hauler. I have no idea how to even go about shipping this thing, so I will leave that responsibility up to the buyer.Clear title. Truck has up to date tags.If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
